I would never have found this site if I hadn’t seen Ms. Langworthy on BFX – but I’m really glad I saw that so I could see this. I have to say I love these videos. I want to pass on my compliments to everyone who worked on them.

I would love to expand the universe a bit – and have considered some of what you mentioned (don’t want to give away too many spoilers so shall stop there .

Hopefully – we find some financing to be able to pull it off on the scale I would love to do it all at.

I loved this series, and if you hadn’t said it was made by only a handful of people in an independant project, I would have believed it was all done professionally. It was well written well played and rang with a sort of spirituality in the middle of all the angst. I’d be intrigued to dig a little deeper into the Drawn By Pain universe you’ve created. Are there perhaps more children or individuals like Emily for whom their escape becomes their reality, giving them similar powers?

I really loved this series. It was very well thought out and fantastically put together.

I do have to ask one question though. Who is the music by? The music was definitely part of what really brought it all together for me. It really worked well.

Congratulations on this! It makes me want to get back into writing again ^_^

Found drawn by pain a few weeks back, decided to not watch any further until all of them were available.

Just watched start to finish and enjoyed it, a few gripes and grumbles here and there but nothing major. I really loved the story and the concept as a whole. While it covers some grave issues I found watching drawn by pain to be almost therapeutic and I believe that the music really added an entirely new element to it. There are quite a lot of things that I really enjoyed about the series such as the intro with the combination of the narration and music.

But most of all I’d like to thank you all for stopping me from quitting everything artistic. The combination of story and animation seems to have touched a few nerves and calmed me on how I feel about the whole issue, before I would be so pessimistic about it that when trying to make/draw anything it would only aggravate me to the point of lashing out at things. effectively watching this has given me a chill pill, heck I’m still pessimistic and think I’m crap but experience nowhere near as much aggravation. Again thanks

I sat and watched all of the episodes and while the animation is rather good, the plot of this entire experience is not. This story did not make any sense to me. Was she some kind of Dark Hero? Was she just battling her own demons? Why were other people involved? Why did she kill? Why could the final 3 people see her manifestations? And why in the end was the blind demon defending her? I would guess that without her alive he would cease to exist, but nothing gets explained and when stuff like this isn’t explains, it drops my interest. Not knowing why she is fighting. None of it makes sense. I was utterly disappointed with this project.
