    Thank you Andrew.

We’re up late editing episode 11 and always nice to hear while in the trenches!

And yes lots of other stuff (ideas) - but focusing on making this as good as we can first.

Love the idea and the animation! good job guys.
Think it works very well with the live action.
is it a series, or a longer film broken up into pieces? Cuz if i got it right you screening in festivals and stuff.
and for Erica, aint animation a pain, but soo fun! totally worth it. i did a music video all animated in flash, frame by frame mostly and took ages, and i used a trackpad to draw! anyway keep up the good work
    You edit in avid Jes?

scratch that series vs film question, just confirmed it in the about section!

  14. Jeskid March 7th, 2008 8:43 pm

I use Avid for the Video and Adobe Premiere Pro for the sound editing.

It is a series that becomes a feature once done. The screenings we have had so far have been the episodes up to a certain point and usually a trailer for the rest.

And of course - thanks man! :)

This was, simply, one of the best shows we’ve seen recently. Not excepting the wasteland of TV.

We look forward to the series conclusion and the DVD.

I finished watching all eleven episodes a few days ago, and I find myself revisiting this site all the time just to rewatch episodes and anxiously await episode 12. I absolutely love this show! It definitely makes me want to check out more of your projects Jes. The style and feeling of this show just grabs hold of me and doesnt let go. I’ve already showed this to my girlfriend, and plan to tell others. Thanks so much for not only making this show, but making it freely and readily available for all to enjoy. Be sure to tell others involved how much we appreciate this too. I seriously love it. Good luck finishing the last episode :)

    Taerdin,

Spreading the word is most awesome of you. It’s hard on our side to do so and not take away from actually making the films. So thx a million times in advance for giving a damn :)

As for the episode - we are workin’ on it - gonna be a bit - but I really think/hope you like it :)

Hahaha, wow, this behind-the-scenes stuff could make a series in it’s own right. I found you guys linked from a Yahtzee video, and after the first episode it was a case of “just one more” until there were none left, and it was 4am.

The quality of this really surprised me, because most films appearing this serious on the internet usually turn out to be pretentious and poorly acted. I was doubly surprised because I tend to dislike most anime, or anything to do with anime, before I even watch it. I’ll admit I still see it cynically, but this project has made me a little ashamed of that, and I think it has opened my mind just a little bit.

Well yeah, keep up the awesome work, cannot wait for the finale, and hope you all get the recognition you deserve for this.

    Thanks Joho!

I’m glad you don’t think I’m 100 percent insane - I always worry about being too silly in the behind the scenes videos - then I say “Fuck it!” and move on :)

As for the series - thanks man - we are busting our butts to get episode 12 ready and just hope the word gets out there enough for something good to happen.

    Thanks again dood :)

    Dear Jes,

I don’t know what the hell you did but you made me watch all the series up till episode 11 in one fell swoop.

Internet really brings us the talents that are ignored on the “normal” channels.
Your talent for story is amazing and i really really REALLY like it. This won’t be aired on TV im affraid though (too controversial with murder and violence in house), thats why we have i-net.

    Keep up the good work!

(If you were a girl i would hug you!)

    Regards,

    Marco
