Drawn by Pain News 09-22-09

Been a bit since our last update and lots to tell:

1) We just recently finished work on the feature film version based on our web-series “Drawn by Pain”. It involved a lot of re-editing/sound design and concept work to morph it into the strong stand-alone feature film it was always meant to be. Now that it is done – I can promise that it really is a stronger experience in its true form.

2) As the work is ready to be seen, we are beginning to talk to various distributors about the best avenue for getting the most people to see the film. As the web-series already has a pretty large following – we really look forward to getting the right distributor in place to have it seen properly.

3) After negotiating with several film representatives, we recently signed with one and are super excited to have a company who truly believes in the film and its fanbase!

4) I will be speaking tomorrow September 23rd (2:45 pm) at the New York Television Festival giving the “Straight Dope” on Web TV (link below).

*EVENT HAS PASSED – LINK BELOW TO WATCH PANEL* Note – the audio is hard to hear for the first 15 minutes or so – skip forward by clicking the time bar at the bottom – after that great!

5) Lastly, as the “Drawn by Pain” web series continues to attract a wide audience from all over the world and more friends and fans join us everyday, we can’t thank you all enough for taking the time to elevate our heartfelt project to where it is now and what it will be someday soon.

Thanks as always – more updates to come sooner than later!
