Well, first things first….fantastic!!!! Little more uplifting, a sense that Emily is gaining control of her demons with the help and friendship of Douglas. She’s getting stronger in being herself and not being her alter-ego, least a little bit. I really liked it, like a lot.

Wow. This was seriously a great episode. One of my favorites to date. I went through a lot of emotions during this episode… and the dialogue was incredible. And I liked the animation that was shown.
Again, one of my favorites. Thanks a bunch!

I really like this episode. I’m glad that Emily and Douglas finally became friends, and that Emil now has someone to talk to. Also, finally finding out more about Douglas made me very happy. Seeing Emily’s world shattering and rebuilding around her just gives her character more depth and draws me deeper into the story. I’m totally curious as to what will happen when she returns to her old home and what she is going to confront. Can’t wait till episode 8!!! Congratz to Jes and Erica yet again. ^_^

It was great to see more background on Douglas’s character, at least he was able to come to terms with his past. Hopefully he can help Emily do the same. I liked this episode a lot for the big fact that there was more actual dialogue between people and less of the narration that has seemed to dominate the episodes thus far. We see the music box again!!! I know i keep bringing it up but i just seemed to figure it out early on that it was going to be comin back frequently. To me its like Rosebud from the movie Citizen Kane…the music box was her last good and or happy memory. Overall it was a great episode, you can see that Emily can control and get a grip of herself if she needs. At least she is holdin on so far. Nice work Jes and Erica

Great Job again Jes.
One of the best episodes yet. Great work boss. Guy and Marissa have great chemistry.

I don’t know how much my opinion matters right now. But this was one of the most “hitting home” episodes. And one the most intimate. This episode is the best episode so far. And that is not an opinion. I feel that this episode is definitely the most personal to me too. As people tend to push good people to the wall, and always, the only person that is going to help you, is your self.

I really do love how this episode shows that Emily is human and that she does have feelings. She struggles with dark shadows from her past that are beginning to surface and she is now faced with having to confront those dark figures that haunt her. It serves as a reminder that we all have things like this in us, but to see it portrayed here with Emily and have someone who has had a very similar experience try an help her is very heart warming. Most people are not even offered that kind of help when they are at that last stage of letting those shadows overtake them. And to see Emily drop her walls and allow herself to accept someone into her life to be a friend, that is a major milestone for someone like her who has grown up with no one. I am very happy with how this episode turned out. Nice message for people too on some level in regards to seeking help when they do hit that point of breaking. Very encouraging

This episode was great across the board. Emily is becoming a much more sympathetic character through Douglas’s help and I especially identified with how he said, “It’s not all pain.” Guy really stole this scene and made it his own.
That being said, he seemed awfully calm when Emily exhibited her power in front of him. Bonus points for him recognizing that she was going to need more help than he could give on his own, but to have absolutely no reaction to a physical manifestation of a cartoon ballerina eight inches away from him?
There’s definitely more to him than he’s letting on…

oh wow, this one leads right into the next one but i cant see it yet!! *grips seat*… its nice to see someone genuine in her life, someone shes willing to talk to. AHH so intense! i want more!!!! should be veryyy interesting!
I really enjoyed this… although now that Emily and Douglas have met I’m scared something will happen to him.
Actually, I’m scared something will happen to everyone in the series! Wonderful tension.
I thought the two leads did a really nice job in this ep… they could have overplayed it… but they didn’t. Just right.
As usual, I feel faint from holding my breath for an entire episode, lol. Great job. I can’t wait to see the next one!

Holy Shit Jes that was a great episode. It came out a lot sooner than I expected but it still had the same great quality as always.
Now seeing how deep Douglas is and how many layers he has to him, this makes his story as interesting and in some ways more curious than Emily’s.
Keep up the great work man.
Yet another great episode…I’m seriously wondering what’s going on with Douglas and wondering if he’s true to what he portrays himself or if he’s another manifestation of Emily’s mind.

i continue to be impressed byt the acting and by the story line.
keep up the excellent work Jes…
Her and Douglas share a relatively same situation. So they are alike. Aside from that Emily has something he does not.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between the two unfold. Finding out Douglas’s story was also a good thing. I thought his episode was amazing. I love it!

High art. Exquisie loneliness. So close to home at my feet. Uncanny mirror. Words from my mouth. Alleys I know. There is a beauty in this lonliness, a refuge in this unsought pain.
Good work.
